Description
TEFL Institute's Professional TEFL Online Course is an internationally accredited, intensive 9-week program, encompassing 130 hours of classroom instruction, as well as 20 hours of student teaching. Conducted in an interactive Virtual Learning Environment hosted on TEFL Institute Online, the course allows for students to train part-time with the ease and flexibility of distance learning. Led by a university-level professor with ten or more years teaching experience, students will participate in a series of modules, quizzes, exams, essays, peer-to-peer reviews and a final project.

Flexibility of your time schedule:
You can log on day or night around your life schedule. These classes cater to people working a full time job, are in school full time or cannot attend an onsite class. The 130 hours of coursework stretched out over a 2 month period provides the ability to finish your class work and continue to work full time. A weekly expectation of 12-15 hours a week of reading, homework, projects and peer interaction and feedback allows everyone the ability to have a quality TEFL class education.
Class interaction:
Students will have continuous feedback from the Online TEFL professor and peer to peer review from their online TEFL classmates from all around the world. You will also have access to all of the homework, lesson plans, and project completed by your peers in your class. This peer to peer interaction provides valuable insight to many different points of view and provides you to the opportunity to practice your reviewing and critiquing skills.

Completion of class in advance of overseas travel:
You have the ability to complete your Online TEFL certification before looking for a teaching position abroad. Many students complete their TEFL Professional class several months prior to going abroad allowing time to focus on the moving details and country research to feel more prepared when moving to a new country.
Qualifications
Applicants must be 18 years or older and be a native or fluent English speaker. A bachelor's degree is preferred in some country locations. Candidates should be patient, committed, enthusiastic, adventurous, open-minded, flexible, and have a true desire to see the world!
