Aussie Fun Down Under is a perfect choice for shorter trips, or an excellent start to a working holiday in Oz. The program will provide you with a memorable first week in Australia, it includes 7 days of fun, including pub crawls, wine tasting, a harbor cruise and surfing lessons. (during the summer months)
This is a great package especially if you are worried about traveling alone. We will even send you a contact list of everyone leaving on your flight so you can arrange to meet at the airport and get to know each another before you arrive!

Your Typical Itinerary For The 7 Days of Fun
* Day 1: Arrival and free time
After checking into the hostel you may want to catch up on a few hours sleep, or head out into the city, or even the beach! Today is a free day for you to spend sightseeing, sleeping, shopping chilling out or whatever else takes your fancy!
* Day 2: Welcome lunch at Sydney Centrepoint Tower
Meet at 11am on Level 1 at the Sydney Central YHA for your briefing about the week ahead. Then you will walk down to the Centrepoint tower for a buffet style all you can eat lunch. The Centrepoint tower is right in the middle of downtown Sydney. The restaurant serves a vast array of starters, mains and desserts for you to try including real Aussie tucker! The rotating tower takes about 70 minutes to complete one rotation and provides amazing views over the city.
The afternoon will be your free time, but don't worry we have lots of ideas and suggestions for great activities in and around the city area.
* Day 3: Hunter Valley Wine Trip
An early start! Meet at 6.45am at 804 George Street (just a 1 minute walk from the hostel!) - First stop, Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park which is rich in Aboriginal history and home to many Australian native flora and fauna. Then onto the Hunter Valley, famous for it's vino! You will stop for lunch and then visit boutique wineries for the complete wine tasting experience.
* Day 4: Surf Trip
Meet your surf trip guide at 9am outside the YHA Central Hostel; At last - your chance to become an Aussie surf dude! You'll have a surf lesson where the experienced coaches will teach you how to catch waves, stand up and ride them all the way to the beach!
Enjoy the coastal route from Sydney to the South Coast including the new Grand Pacific Drive and visit spectacular lookouts along the coast. Discover the uncrowded beauty of Seven Mile Beach national Park and learn to surf with Australia's No 1 Surf School for Beginners!
(If traveling in June this day trip is replaced with a trip to the Olympic Park and Aquatic center).
* Day 5: Beach BBQ and Bar Crawl
Starting at 10am at Level 1, YHA Central Hostel - what better way to get a taste for the Aussie lifestyle than to spend a day at one of Sydney's famous beaches? Relax, soak up the sun, practice your surfing and play games. Let us do all the hard work and prepare you an all-you-can-eat BBQ with sausages, burgers, salads and sauces! You'll also get a free drink and we can of course cater for veggies!
In the evening, we'll take you to experience 4 of Sydney's most popular bars, we'll also get you free drink in each venue!
* Day 6: Zoo
10am start - It's another day packed full of fun! You'll start the day down at Circular Quay where you'll catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo. The Zoo is the biggest city zoo in the world and home to more than 2000 critters including many native Australian animals. You will also be able to hop on the sky safari cable car for great views of the whole zoo and surrounding area.
* Day 7: Sydney Harbor Cruise
For a leisurely last day after a fun packed week we have arranged a Sydney harbor cruise. Meet at 11.30am on Level 1 at the Sydney Central hostel. Your cruise starts at 1pm. Board the Catamaran at The Rocks, Circular Quay and get ready to experience the world famous Sydney Harbor! You will witness some of Australia's icons including the Harbor bridge, Sydney Opera House and Luna Park plus some of Australia's most exclusive real estate in the Eastern Suburbs. Whilst at anchor, swim to the beach or just relax, the choice is yours! A tasty buffet style lunch is included.
