If you're travelling to the other side of the world, why not see Australia AND New Zealand during your 12 month internship?

Many students and graduates who travel to Australia and visit New Zealand, wish they had allowed more time to see New Zealand. This is your opportunity to spend six months+ in each country and have the time of your life.

HTE Internships can place you into New Zealand for 6 months to experience one of the most beautiful countries in the world. When you are in New Zealand, we will confirm your second six month placement in Australia on a tropical island in the Whitsundays.

For this unique internship package, you won't have to pay the full six month internship cost twice, we have worked out a great package that will allow you to see two countries in 12 months in the most cost effective way possible and fully supported by HTE Internships teams in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.

Qualifications

- Be a current hospitality or tourism student who is required to undertake an internship OR
- A hospitality graduate OR
- Anyone with 6 months of more hospitality experience

Salary/Pay
This is a 12 month paid position divided into two 6 month paid intenships or job placements. For New Zealand you will be paid between NZD 13 and NZD 17 per hour. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week to all of our students and graduates we place into New Zealand. In the peak summer months there will usually be additional hours on offer. For Australia your wage will be set by your employer, this will be no less than AUD17 per hour. In Australia, you will work on average 38 hours per week, with the opportunity of working up to 15 hours of overtime each week.

    * Food & Beverage Internship/ Job - Minimum of 6 months F & B experience in a restaurant, hotel or pub
    * Housekeeping Internship/ Job - experience a plus but any cleaning experience and the right attitude will get you a long way.
    * Front Office - Experience preferred, not essential for New Zealand but 12 months Front Desk or Front Office experience essential for Australian placement.
    * Porter/ Concierge - Experience preferred, not essential for New Zealand but 12 months Porter or Concierge experience essential for Australian placement.
