The Halle Foundation Fellowship Program provides 20 university students in the state of Georgia with work experience in Germany, a living and housing stipend, reimbursement of up to USD 1,200 for transatlantic airfare, plus more!
Internships are customized to each individuals skill sets and career goals and placements are available in a variety of fields, including, but not limited to business, engineering, finance, tourism, IT, media/communications, international relations, the nonprofit sector, German studies, and economics.
In addition to individualized internship placements, fellows receive assistance with resume writing, pre-departure cultural and logistical issues, and in-country support. Following the program, fellows will receive assistance marketing their experience to employers and will be introduced to a network of German-American companies in Georgia.
This fellowship is only available to students attending a college or university in the state of Georgia.

Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. (Green Card holder) between the ages of 19 and 30 enrolled at a college or university in Georgia; non-U.S. students must be enrolled before, during, and after the program;
- Minimum of two years post-secondary study of German or its equivalent;
- At least two years post-secondary education.
